My Cubical Decoration won First Price

Its October 2009 month of Diwali festival season in India, two days back we got mail from Recreation activity group that in office there is cubical decoration competition, last year I won price for it, and it was challenge for me to again win this price.

Decorating the cubicle doesn’t translate it to adding all the pink and frills you have. It just means the place where you spend most of your day should have an inspiring effect on you. It should make you feel at home and motivate you to work better. A boring cubicle might proclaim professionalism but it is hardly exciting. You may enjoy what you do but a boring and lifeless cubicle may spell doom to your enthusiasm. Actually when you work in the environment where you are happy and you feel at home, your productivity increases and you stay alert for longer time. Personalizing your workspace can give a flow to your creativity and help you enjoy your work better.

So after two days brainstorming I finalized to work on current hot new about “Presence of water on Moon”, my theme was “SpadeWorx Moon Station”. SpadeWorx Software Services Pvt Ltd, is our company mainly operational on RIA Development, Frameworks Services, Rich Internet Application Development.
What does mean “SpadeWorx Moon Station” theme?
Theme is SpadeWorx opened new office on Moon, it has new work station moon. See following pictures.

Universe environment feel: I used blank papers to fill surrounding of desk and painted planets and stars with colors to bring universe environment feel.
Realistic feel: Few buildings that will represent the various work stations of our company like MSFT, OpenWorx, Test lab, Usability and main Head Quarter, HR Tower, to bring realistic feel.
Future cars on Moon: I used some nice and sporty looking kids cars to represent the future techno driven development on the Moon highways.
Paper made Moving satellite around the moon, and dish antennas for faster communication, also to show SpadeWorx will build capability to launch satellites from Moon surface, I used to show paper made satellite launchers.
• Actually you can see that I created that environment with my desktop by covering monitor with silver paper and big walky-talky, silver colored goggle, and white colored helmet with strips silver paper.
• To bring aliveness that as I am working that environment I changed my wallpaper with some moon pictures, and some background robotic tones.
• I did not forget to show small water tank near workstation.

And finally I succeed in my effort when I got mail from organizing team that I won the first price for Cubical Decoration for this year. Hope you guys will love to implement Moon station theme for participating in Cubical decoration competition.

India need to promote student's for Innovations.

In U.S. companies like Microsoft understood important of students talents, so they come up with talent hunting programs like DreamSpark, InnovateOn etc.

All over the world IT companies struggling to find workers with the knowledge and experience necessary to help our businesses compete and grow.
Absolutely, there are hurdles to get over. Skilled worker shortages, fierce competition amongst the ones who are skilled in a particular field, plus a whole new field to contend with now too! Having a background in the field of getting people simply employed in something is tough enough as it is.

Even we try to find where this skill build and produces ourself, but we only makeup it we get proper education and help of resources that required to build. As we says “nothing is inbuilt, and finally complete ”.

While there was high economic downturn and high unemployment rates in other countries, India were leading and performing in all aspects, and I think it was not only because of Indian Economy, but it has got very talent leaders in I.T.
And finally I am coming to the point that Indian student has very good talent, only concern is that they not getting proper education and resources to built their skills.
One more step ahead, it not just enough to providing facility and motivating for building skills, Indian Economy need to evolving and growing long-term such programs for it.

In coming decades there will be high requirements for working on emerging technologies and innovations, Such occupations will also require that job seekers possess a basic platform of skills to prosper in a global economy.
Not only our Economy but even communities, employers and schools need to work together to help our students get the knowledge and skills they will need to succeed in fields with high growth potential.
What is also required is the training and development of persons who would be providing accurate, current and important career information to young people.

The up and coming students definitely need accessibility and benefit of every educational resource they can.
let’s bring euphoria………promoting student’s Innovation programs.
